Whole Lifestyle Model revisited

Last August I wrote about the Whole Lifestyle Model, a way to balance key aspects of one’s life to make it a better experience.  I’ve been meaning to develop a matrix for this model, but alas my time has pretty much been dominated by a few time-consuming aspects of life.  I attached a sample of the draft model I developed showing nine different aspects of life.  The categories may change.  The basic premise of the model is that it is preferrable to balance the different aspects than to focus too much on just a few of them.  When too much focus is placed on the few, the others aspects suffer, leaving one feeling in a state of disequilibrium.
I placed Faith & Spiritual Growth at the center of my model, but I think all aspects of life are important.  The model is not intended as a way to dictate how to manage one’s life; rather, it is a model for how to devote a most precious commodity–time–to all aspects of life so that life is balanced and fulfilling.  For example, my focus on investing is a part of Financial Security and Hobbies & Exploration.  However, I don’t want to let investing get in the way of exercising, which is necessary for Physical Health & Wellness.  Unfortunately, I still don’t exercise as much as I do, and I probably too much attention to investing.  I need to remedy that.
Dear Reader, please share your thoughts on this model.  What do you think of it?  Is it a good idea?  Did I miss any important aspects of life that should be added to this model?
Blog Note:  I’m reminded something I’ve been meaning to ask you, Dear Reader.  I’ve noticed that although many people visit World Adventurers, few people leave comments.  Why is this?  I love comments and feedback.  You’re always welcome to post a comment or two.

First of all let me tell you how much I love your space and congrats on being chosen as one of The Best of MSN Spaces!  I love the matrix but wonder if "Dreams" could be added.  Take care and come visit me sometime!  Cheers!

It’s the sign-in thing…it took me several tries just to get this far. I never use my Passports any more, so it’s hard to remember what they are when the occasion demands.

Today marks my first experience into the world of Blogs.  I had heard of them, but til now, had no need nor interest particularily.
Today I happened upon MSN "My Space" and have created my first attempt and added my first blog entry.
It was with great delight that I click on your space.  How soothing the music, how thought-provoking today’s entry (Feb. 19th).   It is so polished & refined that I must go back and refine my space some more.  (How does one add music?)
Thank you so much for your inspiration!
Sending you wishes of peace & prosperity from Canada to Korea!

Hi Mike, your model is great!  You did not miss any aspect of life.  You are doing great as a husband and father.  Maybe, you need to create time to exercise in a fun way with your family together. Hope my comments are helpful.

Looking at you space because it was a featured one.  I have found your space rather interesting not at all what I expected.  As for you lifestyles model I like the idea of it but I feel that family and home should be in the center of it. I feel that if people put more into family and home we as a world would probably be better off in the long run.
On a different note, I would be very interested in finding out how you were able to add musice to you space.  I love the bagpipes and would like to find some music to add to mine.

By the way, I do like the fact that faith and spiritual growth are at the center.  As a Christian, I feel that if God is at the center of your life and you’re truly endeavouring to follow godly principles in life, then all the other areas of life will be impacted positively through that focus.
